Chris Jackson

Chartered Quantity Surveyor for 25 years. Experience Project Manager and CDM co-ordinator. Experience delivering multi million pound projects across a number of sectors including Media, Banking, Education, Local Government & Retail. Understands the importance of project interface with the FM team. Has worked on secondments with clients in Media, Education and FM delivery sectors.

Current Experience
  • Pre and post contract quantity surveying duties for two high quality residential properties in London combined values in excess of £4m.
  • Extending and refurbishing offices in city location project value £2.5m.
  • Project managing a scheme to create a furniture showroom in London value £170K.
  • Finalising final account for fast track high class car showroom refurbishment value £5.5m.
  • CDM co-ordination for an office refurbishment in London value £200k.
  • Site reviews of health and safety procedures for industrial plant installation for a major household consumer product manufacturer.

Other Experience
  • Secondment and project specific roles for the BBC to work alongside their in-house design and facilities management teams at various London buildings to carry out Project Management and associated roles for a range of refurbishment schemes and in house departments.
  • Secondment for the University of Essex (3months) to provide project management on a range of projects over the University’s ‘out of term’ period. The projects involved managing and working with both internal and external designers and consultants and in house facilities managers. Over the years Chris has worked on a number of other specific university projects as project manager, quantity surveyor and CDM-C.
  • Quantity surveying role for building remodelling works for long term role out of new TV and radio transmitter technology upgrade nationwide.
  • Preparation of standard specification and tender documentation for the Anglia Ruskin University to streamline their in-house design and tender procedures.
