Project Experience

  • £1.7m ramp down and building closure of iconic World Service estate including management of onsite teams and client relationships
  • £700k fit out of 2 new catering facilities at BBC Broadcasting House, mobilisation with catering supplier to successful opening
  • Establishing and delivery of the Operational strategy for new BBC central London estate
  • Mobilisation of numerous new buildings into property portfolio’s
  • Successfully delivered many capital replacement projects including key plant machinery and property repairs

Johnson Controls
– April 2007 to June 2013
Soft Services & Project Lead. BBC Central London contract (Oct 2010 to Jun 2013)
  • Part of the JCI Change team developing, managing and implementing the FM delivery model for the Central London estate including New Broadcasting House and Television Centre.
  • Campus is in excess of 250k Sqm supporting over 7000 BBC staff and contractors.
  • Identify and implementing operational efficiencies for all Soft service lines
  • Successfully delivered key projects on time and within budget
    • Fit out and mobilisation on 2 new catering outlets
    • Ramp down and decommission of BBC Bush House
  • Mobilisation on new sites (secondment to other JCI contracts), preparation of project pricing proposals
Customer Business Manager – GE Corporate, UK portfolio (June 2008 to October 2010)
  • P&L accountability for operational and capital budgets, including ownership and management of projects delivered outside of core FM operations.
  • Delivery of TFM services to multiple sites throughout the UK with both self delivery and 3rd party supplier responsibility.
  • Successfully delivered numerous projects including site mobilisation and asset replacement.
  • Full responsibility for ‘day to day’ facilities management and operational performance. 
Customer Business Manager – Deloitte, London estate (November 2007 to June 2008)
  • I played a key part in the successful relocation to 2 newly developed HQ buildings including the decommissioning of the current buildings, part of a £200m Project Unity redevelopment of the London buildings relocating c.2400 staff. 1m sq ft of accommodation managed
  • Accountable for the delivery of full M&E services to the London Estate, managing agent for Cleaning and Security Services
