Our Services

Strategic Management

Supporting organisations with strategic reviews of their estate and facilities management services to help plan for the future or resolve immediate financial or operational challenges. GACL has undertaken strategic reviews in the education, private and public sectors and prior to setting up GACL worked for the BBC, Land Securities and Monteray in a strategic management positions where a wide range of operational experience was gained.

Project Management

Taking ownership of specific project(s) and working on own or in collaboration with client team to deliver the required solution. GACL has undertaken a number of commissions which have included establishing procedures for managing tenants on a university campus and managing a team with the aim of introducing hand held technology to their engineers. Prior to setting up GACL worked for Monteray as Project Management Director leading a national team delivering a range of projects.

FM Contracts & Tendering

GACL has undertaken a number of reviews of client facilities management contract arrangements. GACL has made recommendations of how to both improve service partner performance and provide support to facilities managers who are responsible for managing these services. In addition to this GACL has undertaken a review of a national grounds maintenance contract in the telecommunication sector for c6500 buildings across the UK and managed the subsequent tender exercise.

Operational Management

Undertaking reviews of services and reporting on findings, trouble shooting specific customer or client issues, and mobilising new services contracts. GACL was recently engaged to work in health sector supporting the in-house facilities team with reviewing their performance measurement procedures to improve performance.

Management Training

GACL can offer a range of Facilities Management training courses including Presentation Skills, Health & Safety, Customer Care and Contract Management.

Relocation & Move Management

Assist clients with organising, planning and executing office moves or relocations. GACL has also developed a partnership with Plan B Solutions Limited to offer clients an analytical review of space to help with identifying their most efficient and economical space requirements. GACL and Plan B Solutions Limited have worked on projects in the public sector.

Event Management

GACL has considerable experience in organising and delivering professional training days and conferences. This includes booking high quality venues and arranging for industry specialists to speak on a wide range of facilities management subjects.
